Trash the Dress!!!

You've probably heard about this latest hot trend thats sweeping the nation. ITs called "Trash the Dress". No you dont actually trash it, but its a fun session doing things in your wedding dress (after the wedding day) that you would never have even thought about doing on your big day. For example....frolic in the surf...lay down on the rr tracks.....ride bareback on a horse...etc etc etc.

The sky is the limit really.

Here's a special offer. The first bride to call us to set up a TTD session gets the session for FREE!!! Thats right!! No session fee at all!! After its done you can purchase anything you like but the session is free. Thats a 299.00 session for free!! (It does have to take place on the Treasure Coast though).

If you are interested in having a great time and creating some killer images while making use of that "old dress", leave us a comment below then...

Just call us to set it up!!! 772-336-5798 Happy New Year Everyone!!

Kudo's to Canon

Gotta give a shout out to the folks at Canon's Professional Service center. We had the misfortune to have a camera drop and break a lens and a flash unit on our 12/31 event, and all 3 arrived back today completely as new. Considering shipping back and forth, thats wonderful service!! Thanks Canon!!!

A walk in the park....

....on a terrific afternoon, was just the beginning of Christina and Justin's big day!! We got started at the new Hilton Gardens in St Lucie west for some fun shots getting her ready to go...who am I kidding...Christina was ready to go when I walked in!! Even so we got some great light both in her room and in the lobby. The huge windows and open spaces made for some really dramatic images. Then a huge HummerLimo from Eagle Marsh Limosuines shuttled them up the the Liberty Baptist church, where they not only tied the knot, but celebrated after for the reception in there huge facility behind the church. While the guests enjoyed the cocktail hour, we jumped back in the Hummer, and zoomed over to White City Park for some really cool stuff in the park.

I'm told that after the reception ended...the couple were treated to a surprise mini reception back at the Hilton, where Paragon Entertainment partied up the night for the remaining guests. Anyway, Congrats again to Christina and Justin!!

Triple Header!!! 3 days, 3 weddings!!

A great trio of weddings we had over the New Years holiday!! Amy and Jose closed out 2007 in a big way with their wedding celebration!! They had the best crew on the Treasure Coast from top to bottom, starting with some gorgeous flowers from Barbara at Country Club Florists, then Cobblestone Limogave their ride some style, and a beautiful (and delicous)cake from Betty at Sweet Tiers Of course they were stuck with me....and they had DJ Lou from Paragon Entertainment providing the musical accompaniment.

They knocked off a little early to allow all their guests to ring in the New Year with their families, and now its off to the Caribbean for a dynamite honeymoon.

Congrats again Amy and Jose. See all their pix HERE

Deer Creek Wedding

Well the middle game of our triple header was with Jill and Michael at the wonderful Deer Creek country club. Starting at a cool little beach house with tons of character, (and an iguana!!) Jill and Mike had a chamber of commerce day for their nuptials. Once we got them hitched at the church, we dashed over to the club, where Dj Eddie B, had the crowd rocking all night long!! Everyone had a wonderful time helping the newlyweds celebrate their big day. Congrats again guys!! Brad

The true measure of a professional is whether or not they can win when they dont have their "A" game How does that relate to wedding photography you ask?? Well you'd expect great images if your wedding is in the late afternoon at the Ritz Carlton in the spring with a fabulous sunset. But, thats not what happens at most events. What if the venue isnt so photogenic?? What if its raining? What if its dark? There are lots of factors that occur each week at weddings all across the country that dont necessarily lend themselves to "great photography". Somehow, the true professional.....still needs to go out there and deliver the goods and get that "win"!! Thats what you want to find in your A team of wedding vendors in all categories.
Was this quote from: (A) Tiger Woods about golf? or (B) Brad Barr about wedding photography? or (C) Jack Nicklaus about Tiger Woods? or (D) Greg Maddux on baseball? or (E) All of the above....

Ok Everyone!! When you call, this is the face behind the voice!! My wife Debbie, and here strange earrings!!! Actually I'm just playing with another new fast prime lens...the 135 2.0 L which is one of Canons premier lenses...look at how buttery the out of focus area is behind her....known as the bokeh. Look for some spectacular images from this nice hunk of glass!!
Pipers Landing wedding

Karen and Anthony celebrated their wedding vows this Christmas season at Pipers Landing Country Club. After several days of rain, the ceremony got bumped indoors, but that just added more holiday spirit to the already festive occasion. Little A.J., wasn't too sure about all the festivities, but soon warmed up to the crowd once the party started. DJ Lou from Paragon Entertainment kept everyone hoppin on the dance floor all night long in his usual fashion! Dee fashioned up a great cake from Cakes by Dee again as usual!! All in all it was a wonderful holiday wedding. Congrats again to Karen and Anthony!! Brad
