Why is that a great quote? Well at a recent bridal show a young lady came up to the booth, and asked how in the world could she possibly choose a photographer from the 9 that were exhibiting that day. I thought of this quote....then as i slowly turned the pages on one of our recent coffee table books....i said, "All you need to do is feel the images in front of you, and ask yourself, when you turn the page....do the images move you??? " She looked on for a while and said, you know you're right....some wedding images are just that, images....and some are truly an emotional experience, and much much more than just a picture. .........I guess she got it.

Want to save some serious money on your wedding?

Hey Everyone, We've had a ton of brides in the last month or so inquiring about availability for some popular Saturday 2008 dates. Seems that we were booked on a great many of them. (fortunately or unfortunately)depending on how you look at it.

One thing you might want to consider is selecting a non Saturday date for your event. One big reason, most venues will cut their rates by an often drastic amount for Friday or Sunday events. Why? Because they know they will book the Saturdays, thats a given for most of the top venues, but often they dont do anything on Fri or Sun. All the other vendors will have lots more availability for non Saturday events as well. Some may offer discounts, some wont, but most venues do. And that discount can add up to thousands of dollars.

Just a thought to consider.

Great Engagement sessions at Indian Riverside Park!!

Knocked out 2 engagement sessions today under the gorgeous light at IRSP in Jensen. Despite lots of park visitors (some kind of twins get together), the park made for a picture perfect setting for our two couples this afternoon. Now the problem is...what to do with so many fantastic shots to choose from....here's a few!! Another great wedding at Benvenutos!! This one took place completely after dark!!! You'd never know it by the images however, check out the next few ceremony shots. All of them are purely natural light as it looked the way Benvenutos sets it up!! Here in this shot, The Eyes have it!! This has quickly become one of my favorite shots!!
