Most of you know by now that I'm a pretty avid golfer. I just wanted to say that I finally was able to hold it all together long enough to shoot an complete round under par for the first time last week. Thats a big milestone for me. Actuallly had a chance to shoot 69 by making a birdie at the last, only to miss the pin by 12'....which landed me in the sand. Oh well, 71 wasnt too shabby for a chopper like me:-))

Brittney and Drew had another gorgeous day for their South Florida Wedding!! We started off at the church, as you can see we kind of took over the pastors office!! Then off to the Governers Club on the 13th floor overlooking the intercoastal and the ocean where Barbara took care of every detail for a fantastic reception. Jerry from Kenny Mondo took care of the entertainment for the evening in his usual terrific way. All in all, good times were had by everyone!! Congrats again guys!! Brad

2007 A Year in Review

Well, considering the year has been over for a few days, we have taken some time to reflect upon it. We had the great honor to be a part of some of the coolest weddings we've ever done. We managed to photography in several states last year, including New Hampshire, Wisconsin, North Carolina, Georgia, and of course good ole Florida. We've been at 5 star hotels, country clubs and some terrific private residences; each one special in its own way. Just goes to show that there really is no one way to do a wedding. Your way is the right way. On a photographic note, 2007 marked the biggest change of my career photographically. We undertook the journey of converting to all prime lenses...that is to say non-zoom lenses. They do cost more, but the results speak for themselves. It is more a case of searching for the great light than the great equipment, but you really can not do the former without the latter. So now its 2008. How in the world are we going to top the images we produced in 2007??? Well thats the great thing about this job....every day is a new challenge, a new opportunity, a new bride. I'd be perfectly happy to show only the last wedding we shot as our portfolio.....and that is a sentiment that we live by all year....shoot every wedding like its going to be your portfolio....cause it is. Thats one reason we always try to show prospective brides the proofs from the most recent wedding....I want my "reality" to kick the pants off every other photographers "portfolio" images every single week!!! Thats what drives me. I dont like to lose....ever at anything. Golf, baseball, tennis, or yes...photography. Especially photography!!

Onward to 2008. We already are 50% booked up for the year. I managed to break par for the 1st time ever YEAH!! And the Barr boys are all stoked to start the new season of baseball....life goes on....

Anyway, thanks for listening, and look in again to see the latest. We will be making some changes too!!
